Hylands House paranormal Investigation Friday 13th October 2017 20.00 - 0200

Hylands House is a Grade II* neo-classical villa situated within Hylands Park. It dates from 1730 and was originally a red brick building. Having seen many changes and owners It was bought by Chelmsford Borough Council in 1966 and stayed derelict for 20 years before the restoration programme began. When war broke out in Europe in 1914 Hylands was used as a hospital.

Over 1,500 patients were treated during the war. In 1944 the SAS used Hylands House as their Headquarters. During the war, Hylands Estate was the site for a German Prisoner of War camp and a wireless command post for the 6th Anti-Aircraft Division. We held an investigation here a few years ago and had a great night, so why not join as we investigate this magnificent building again. Strange Happenings

Strange things been happening recently. Twice now the dog has been freaked out at night and when I come down in the morning there is a treat on the kitchen floor which none of us has put down. Now my witch wind chime is spinning round with no draft and no candle underneath. It seems to stop every now and then and when we talk about it starts again. Looks like someone is around and trying to get our attention

Cressing Temple @ Halloween

Why not join us this Halloween on a paranormal investigation at the historical Cressing Temple Barns. This will give you a chance to go round this vast venue with our team of experienced paranormal investigators and use our equipment to see if we can capture any evidence of the ghosts that have apparently been seen here in the past. These include a Roman Soldier, a Cavalier, children that have been heard (on a previous investigation) and a Knight that is supposed to buried somewhere in the grounds. On our last investigation several of us in different areas of the house heard a woman scream and we noticed that a door that was previously shut was later open. This was in part of the house which we had no access to.These are just a few that have been recorded, can we find any more? We can't guarantee that you will have a paranormal experience but its a great night out, where you meet new people who you can exchange stories with and see what we do in our spare time. Refreshments will be provided but you may want to bring a torch and camera and wear warm and appropriate clothing as it does get cold. Tickets are only £25 per person we are limited to 30 so book your place now on 0845 603 7624 or 0333 013 8156

Well that was an interesting night out in Epping Forest. Diversion on the way there, a rave and dogging just down the road, the church alarm went off just as we were leaving, another diversion on the way home and then the police were blocking the road just outside our village so had to turn round and go another way. Had to have a maccy d's to make up for it lol

We had a great night at Cressing, met some great people and had plenty going on. 3 people witnessed a monk walk across the grounds, shadows seen by the barns, footsteps heard on the gravel, walking around upstairs in the house, a machine starting up and a door opening, tapping, a woman screaming, shadows seen in the granary when no one was in there, a woman heard in the visitor centre and rattling on the door but when checked no one was there. Thank you every one for coming hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did ~x~  ;)
