Hylands House paranormal Investigation Friday 13th October 2017 20.00 - 0200

Hylands House is a Grade II* neo-classical villa situated within Hylands Park. It dates from 1730 and was originally a red brick building. Having seen many changes and owners It was bought by Chelmsford Borough Council in 1966 and stayed derelict for 20 years before the restoration programme began. When war broke out in Europe in 1914 Hylands was used as a hospital.

Over 1,500 patients were treated during the war. In 1944 the SAS used Hylands House as their Headquarters. During the war, Hylands Estate was the site for a German Prisoner of War camp and a wireless command post for the 6th Anti-Aircraft Division. We held an investigation here a few years ago and had a great night, so why not join as we investigate this magnificent building again. Tickets are £30 pp, deposit needed and full payment at least 2 weeks before the event
